Featured along the
left bank of the River Thames is the House of Parliament and the
clock commonly referred to as Big Ben. Big Ben is actually a
15-ton bell that tolls the hours. Westminster Abbey is just left
of the House of Parliament. Along the right riverbank is the
world’s largest Ferris wheel, the London Eye. The ride takes 30
minutes and rises 450 feet above the River Thames. Westminster
Bridge crosses between House of Parliament and the London Eye.
On the far right of the panorama in the distance is London’s
brightly lit Tower Bridge.
