This panoramic
photograph features one of the most visited areas in Munich, the
capital of Bavaria, with its many important churches and
beautiful architecture. Frauenkirche is the church with the two,
green-topped steeples. To its right is the ornate white Rathaus,
or City Hall, that is enjoyed by the crowds that gather at the
square called Marienplatz. The church on the right with three
domes is Theatinerkirche. Left of the plaza is Peterskirche with
its two clocks. For a fantastic view of Marienplatz and the
area, people can go to the top of Peterskirche.
