right of downtown, is the University of Utah. The city is the
world headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints, also known as the Mormons. Behind the Salt Palace, with
its striped roof, is the Mormon Temple with its spiked roof.

from persecution.
